UK Roots Movement (URM) is a management and Promotion Company whose mission is to make Roots scene grow within the UK. Roots music is massive in Australia and America with artists such as Ben Harper, John Butler Trio and Jack Johnson selling out huge venues all over the world. However there are artists in the UK playing great roots music but are unknown due to the UK media’s obsession with post punk Indie and pop.

URM offers its services to all bands of all genres, however only rootsy artists will be signed to the label and reap the benefits of our band management.

On our label at the moment we are proud to have the roots/rock legends Wille and the Bandits the blinding folk/reggae outfit The Wishbones and the sweet harmonies of the folk duo Luke and Howeller.
